Waiting out a bad storm in Kansas on Tuesday. It was really windy riding across Kansas, the thunderstorms made it even worse. We were lucky to come across this railroad bridge and wait out the worst of it, we even had a train cross over us to add to the excitement.
Kelly's saddlebag was coming loose so we stopped for a quick repair and it was off again.

Tuesday was Kelly's birthday. Steve and Brenda had Kelly a cake and gift for her. How thoughtful!!
Brenda and Steve were such wonderful hosts, we even had a home cooked breakfast. This was a real treat after being on the road for so many days. They also prepared a tasty dinner for us when we arrived AND let wash all our laundry...........and it was a LOT of laundry. Thanks again Steve and Brenda.
